The The 2015 St.George Lebanese Film Festival is honoured to announce special guest, Hollywood Producer Ron Senkowski (Kahlil Gibran’s The Prophet) will be attending the 2015 St.George Lebanese Film Festival.
The LFF team is proud to be hosting the Sydney Premiere of ‘Kahlil Gibran’s The Prophet’ and are excited to have respected Hollywood Producer Ron as a VIP guest. Together with St George Bank, Panavision Australia, Bankstown City Council (home to Sydney’s Kahlil Gibran monument), Hoyts Cinema Australia and Iconic Films, the Sydney Premiere of Kahlil Gibran’s The Prophet will take place on Saturday 22 August 2015.
Ron Senkowski, the president of film entity Symply Entertainment, he teamed with Hollywood Actress and Director Salma Hayek and produced the masterpiece ‘Kahlil Gibran’s The Prophet’. Ron teamed among the finest directors, producers, artists and musicians to bring to life what is a compelling, touching journey, it is truly filmic artistry at it’s finest. The film is directed by Roger Allers (The Lion King) Mohammad Saeed Harib, Gaeten Brizzi, Paul Brizzi, Joan C. Gratz, Tomm Moore, Nina Paley, Bill Plympton, Joann Sfar, Michel Socha. It has an all star cast line up including Salma Hayek, Liam Neeson, John Krasinski, Quvenzhane Wallis, Alfred Molina, Frank Langella.
Additionally, Senkowski is actively producing television and film in both Los Angeles and the Middle East, with projects in development (including film adaptations and projects with writer Amin Maalouf) and productions at a number of networks and studios.
Senkowski has written, directed and produced a number of award-winning independent films and has written for Adam Sandler, Quentin Tarrantino, Barry Levinson, Michael Mann and others, as well as for nearly all of the major studios. He holds an MFA in Film and Television, from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. He is an active member of the Writers Guild of America (WGA) and is also a member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences as well as a Member of the Producers Guild of America.
Ron will be hosting a Q&A session after the film, giving the audience a chance to discover the world behind the visually stunning adaptation of one of the greatest books ever written!
